Infrared Photography-A portal to the unseen

In November 2018, while looking for some photography equipment on the internet I found a camera body marked as "Infrared". Obviously this got my attention because I've never heard of the "infrared" term in photography before, and I immediately looked for more information. I was so amazed and curious about it that I decided to buy the camera. 

​In the infrared photography you can capture the light spectrum that our eyes can't see, and this can be only achieved by using an infrared filter on your lens or a camera body with the infrared filter inside. Many digital cameras comes with a filter inside that blocks the infrared light, but this can be altered by opening the camera and changing that filter with an infrared filter that blocks the visible light. This type of photography is a way to enter into a magical world of colors. It can make you can be more creative and take some unique photos. 

In this blog I'm sharing my first infrared pictures. This has been an interesting and difficult challenge to me, but I love the results.
